2010 Gymkana Homeshow

Flips twenty feet in the air, acrobatics on 18-foot ladders and handstands on stacks of wooden chairs. It sounds remarkable, and the visual is that much more spectacular! The University of Maryland Gymkana Troupe is hosting its 64th annual gymnastic exhibition, showcasing high-flying acrobatic circus performances by the Troupe’s 80+ members. Come witness over 20 heart-pounding routines, including the famous vaulting act where gymnasts launch off of trampolines and flip through a ring of fire! Cheer on the Troupe as they demonstrate how healthy living allows one to soar above the influence of drugs and alcohol.

The University of Maryland Gymkana Troupe’s 64th annual gymnastic exhibition will take place on Friday, April 9th and Saturday, April 10th at 7:00PM at the University of Maryland Comcast Center. The show is open to the public and tickets can be purchased at the door. Admittance is $7.00 for University of Maryland students, faculty and staff, $8.00 for children 12 and under, and $9.00 for adults.
